Welcome to Jensen Missions. Our family has been interested is mission work for a number of years. George went on his first overseas mission trip in 1996, when he went to New Zealand, and subsequently took trips to Ukraine, India, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, and Jamaica, and New Zealand. In March/April of 2005, our entire family went on a mission trip to India. In May of 2006, our whole family spent the month of May working in Malawi, Africa. During this trip, we observed the great need for more teachers and preachers in Africa. After much prayerful consideration, we made the commitment to move to Tanzania, Africa and work with a mission effort known as TZ2000.
Our family arrived in Moshi, Tanzania April 17, 2007. After working with the TZ2000 effort in the Arusha/Moshi area for 3 1/2, our family has decided to move to another area of Tanzania, with a desire to work in a new field with the indigenous approach. We have set our sights on Iringa, and we hope to relocate by the end of this year, or shortly thereafter.
